Biography

Pierre Reverdy, born in 1960, is smith cutler.

Fascinated by the forge for the years of his adolescence, he acquires patiently the necessary skills for the creation.

With Nicole, his wife, they create their studio in 1989. It is in this magic, timeless universe, where forges and anvils go alongside to myths and to miracles, where his blades are born. They are made of techniques of the past as much as contemporary inspiration.

Every work is unique, drawn and forged in the most beautiful materials, the decorated steels or the poetic damask; Nicole sometimes imagines a decoration of enamel, and the sleeves of these daggers are made of ivory of mammoth, precious wood and other rare materials.

Member of the Grands Ateliers of France, Pierre Reverdy is co-opted in the most private knives show of the world, AKI of San Diego, Art Knife Invitational.

Esteemed by the biggest collectors, he counts among the best international cutlers.

It has just been named Maître d’ Art, a rare title, awarded by the Minister of the Culture on the model of the Japanese Alive Treasuries.
