BOULLET Alain, painting, sculpture, permanent artist of Galerie Capazza since 1989

Conceived at night, in the dominant flame of the bushes, polished with caresses and ashes until the final wax soothes the scars of burned clay, these ovoid women and embraced couples remind us that only art can ensure the continued existence of desire.
Something is going to happen, no doubt… This work, made from tenderness and restraint, is a constant welcome gesture. At this particular moment, changing as the dawn’s sunshines, Alain Boullet is setting the exquisite moment when things come to human being. Poet of emergence, he allows you to witness the simplest wonder: the birth of art.

1956-1959 Studies at Fine Arts of Paris
Works with Marcel Gili, Robert Wogensky, Raymond Legueult
Travels to Greece, Italy, Spain, Morocco

1959-1962 Algeria War (brings back drawings)

1963-1967 Graphic designer at Printemps, Paris

1968-1972 Teacher at Fine Arts of Mulhouse
Exhibitions in Japan and USA

1973-2001 Teacher at Villa Arson, Nice Art school. Lives and works in Falicon, near Nice, France
Regularly comes back to Sologne

He currently lives and works in his workshop in Limoges.
